Industrialising Battery Technologies: Strengthening ASEAN’s Battery Value Chain for Global Competitiveness
We are honoured to welcome you to the 4th ASEAN Battery Technology Conference (ABTC 2026), hosted by NMB (NanoMalaysia Berhad) in Sepang, Malaysia, from 19 to 21 August 2026. In collaboration with partners across the region, ABTC continues to serve as a leading ASEAN platform for battery and energy storage advancement, industry alignment, and cross-border collaboration.
Building on the momentum of ABTC 1 (Bali), ABTC 2 (Singapore) and ABTC 3 (Phuket), ABTC 2026 focuses on accelerating the industrialisation of battery technologies and strengthening ASEAN’s battery value chain to compete globally. As demand grows across mobility and energy storage, the region has a timely opportunity to scale manufacturing capability, improve safety and standards, and develop an integrated, resilient value chain.
This year’s programme will cover priority themes including the ASEAN battery industrial landscape, battery safety, investment, policy and market enablement, scaling manufacturing and production capacity, integrated value chain development, and competitive deployment for mobility and energy storage. ABTC 2026 will also feature a dedicated white paper and facilitated discussion on the ASEAN battery landscape, alongside sessions on technology development and emerging battery technologies.
Sepang provides an ideal setting to connect industry leaders, researchers, policymakers, investors, and solution providers. We look forward to practical outcomes, partnerships, and actions that support ASEAN’s clean energy transition and industrial growth.
Thank you for joining us at ABTC 2026. We look forward to welcoming you to Sepang, Malaysia.
